Robbers disarm armored truck guard near Houston’s Galleria, leave empty

Two men attempted to rob an armored truck Monday morning in west Houston but left empty-handed, according to the FBI.
The men approached the security guard this morning while she was in the 6400 block of San Felipe, officials said.
They managed to disarm her but did not take any money, only making off with the security guard’s firearm.
Nearby security cameras captured the robbery attempt, showing one man in dark clothing with a gun rushing toward the guard. Another man in gray pants and a camo jacket was also seen running toward the woman.
They were last seen fleeing in a dark-colored SUV, according to the FBI.
