Robbers hit armored car at Marietta GA QuikTrip
MARIETTA, Ga. Aug 29 2018
Police are searching for several men who robbed an armored truck as they were delivering cash to a QuikTrip gas and convenience store in Marietta Georgia on Tuesday.
The robbery took place just after noon at the QT near the intersection of Powder Spring and Sandtown Roads.
Marietta Police Public Information Officer Chuck McPhilamy said that the robbers took money from the delivery security officer during an armored vehicle delivery.
Police did not mention if the men were armed.
Marietta police and detectives quickly responded to the scene and conducted a search of the area.
There was no immediate word of how much money the robbers got away with, or if anyone was injured.
