Robbery man points gun at Metro Market security officer, drives off
SHOREWOOD, Wis. December 21 2018
Shorewood police are looking for a man who pointed a gun at a Metro Market loss prevention officer Wednesday night.
Police said officers responded to the grocery store at North Oakland Avenue and East Kenmore Place around 10:30 p.m.
They said a man stole liquor from the store, and when the officer approached the man in the parking lot, he pointed a gun before taking off in a smaller silver car.
Police described as African-American, 6 feet tall, with black braids with red highlights and was wearing gray sweatpants and a black puffy jacket with fur on the hood.
No surveillance images were available as of 8:30 a.m. Thursday. No injuries were reported.
Shorewood police said they will release further information as the investigation continues.
