Robbery Suspect Dies After Being Shot By Security Guard at San Jose Walgreens

A man shot Monday by a security officer during a possible theft or robbery situation at the Walgreen’s store on S. first street has died police said Tuesday.
Police say that a security guard shot him Monday night but that they are not sure yet if it was a robbery or some other situation.
The suspect’s name was not available.
Police said the security officer is cooperating with police in the investigation.
The security officer’s name also has not been released.
Police said that there have been no charges but that the investigation is still continuing.
