Rochester Transit Center security officer stabbed
ROCHESTER, N.Y. February 5 2019 Police have arrested a man for allegedly stabbing a security guard at the RTS Transit Center.
Officers responded to 60 St. Paul St. around noon on Monday. They found a 23-year-old woman with at least one stab wound to her lower body.
The victim was taken to Strong Memorial Hospital for non-life threatening injuries.
Police say the suspect, 40-year-old Alonzo Green, of Rochester, was involved in a physical altercation with an acquaintance and he allegedly stabbed the security guard when she tried to break up the fight.
Green was arrested and charged with second-degree assault.
