Roswell NM mother and daughter charged in shoplifting incident
ROSWELL, N.M. June 3 2019 — A mother and daughter are accused of teaming up to steal from a Marshall’s in Roswell.
Rosa Mendoza worked at the store. According to court documents, Rosa was allegedly pretending to ring up her daughter DeAnna Mendoza – and then gave her items for free.
Rosa and her daughter are also accused of pulling off some fraudulent returns.
They reportedly got away with over $2,800 worth of merchandise between September and December.
Both have been charged with shoplifting.
