Ryerson University security officer suffered smoke inhalation during fire
Toronto Canada March 3 2019 A security guard suffered smoke inhalation in a mechanical room fire at Ryerson University on Friday night.
Toronto fire crews were called to Church Street and Dundas Street just after 8 p.m. and assisted in evacuating the building’s occupants, Toronto police said.
The fire was extinguished and the injured security guard was treated by paramedics.
Church Street was closed for more than two hours but has since reopened.
