Saint Barnabas Medical Center security officer attacked by patient
Livingston NJ Aug 14 2017 A hospital patient has been arrested for attacking and assaulting a security officer.
Police say that the assault occurred at Saint Barnabas Medical Center.
A patient refused to leave the hospital after treatment.
Hospital staffers called security officers to escort the man off the property when a confrontation uccurred.
While confronting the hospital security, the patient ripped off the security officer’s nametag.
As the security officer bent down to pick it up, the patient bit him in the arm.
Police were called and arrested was a Natequah Polk, 23, of Newark, N.J.
Polk was remanded to the Essex County Jail on a violation of Probation warrant.
