Santa Monica security officer takes man into custody on battery charge

Officers were dispatched to Ralph’s on the 1600 block of Cloverfield due to a Battery.
The store security officer had the subject handcuffed as they waited for the police.
Officers learned that the individual attacked two women in the store.
One victim relayed that she knocked on the restroom door while the subject was inside, he then opened the door and charged at her attempting to punch her but missing.
Later, another victim stated that the subject charged at her down the aisle and hit her on the head several times, causing her to fall.
Kwami Miles Brown was arrested for Assault and transported to Santa Monica jail.
He was later issued a citation with a return date for court.
