School resource officer seriously injured in gate accident

Edmond Police are investigating an injury involving a school resource deputy from the Oklahoma County Sheriff’s Office on Friday night.
Authorities arrived on the scene near Interstate 35 and 2nd Street where police Deputy Jeremy McCain was injured.
McCain was pulling through a gate and the gate partially closed, going through the windshield.
“One of our School Resource Deputies has been seriously injured. We are asking for prayers for him. Power of prayer is great!” Oklahoma Christian School said.
McCain was transported to a local hospital.
