Security guard assault suspect bites, spites on deputies during booking
Houston TX October 11 2023 Deputies in Houston responded to an assault incident on October 7, 2023, at the 19300 block of the North Freeway, resulting in the arrest of a man with outstanding felony warrants.
The investigation identified the assailant as Steven Wyer, who was found to have two outstanding felony warrants for assaulting security guards.
Wyer was also implicated in the assault incident that led to the dispatch of deputies.
During the booking process at the Harris County Jail, Wyer further escalated the situation by biting and spitting at a deputy. Consequently, he was charged with assault and harassment of a public servant, in addition to his existing felony warrants, according to the Harris County Precinct 4 Constable’s Office.
