Security guard at North Charleston Tanger Outlets charged with criminal sexual conduct

A Tanger Outlets security guard has been arrested by North Charleston police for allegedly forcing a woman to perform oral sex.
47 year old Rodney Pruitt was arrested in North Charleston Nov 9. He is being charged with criminal sexual conduct.
According to police reports, a new employee at Tanger Outlet North Charleston says on her first day of employment, she was warned by her supervisor that Pruitt was ” flirty”.
The victim says on the second day of work, Pruitt started coming onto her, made sexual comments, and showed her a photo of his penis.
She says, she stayed at work late to avoid Pruitt, but when she returned an hour later, Pruitt locked the door, pushed her into chair, tore open her blouse, fondled her, exposed himself, and forced her to perform oral sex.
Pruitt denies the allegations and says it was consensual.
Kelly Hedman, Assistant General Manager of Tanger Outlet in North Charleston says, “the investigation is ongoing and she cannot comment any further.
Pruitt was placed on a $250,000 bond.
