Security guard found alseep with vodka issued citation by police

Police on routine patrol was checking the area behind an abandoned Sears building at 12:19 a.m. and found a suspicious vehicle in the parking lot.
Officers approached the vehicle, and could see a man behind the building that appeared to be asleep behind the wheel.
Police said the man was a security guard working a fire watch-security detail and fell asleep while waiting for his next patrol period.
Police could smell alcohol and saw an open bottle of vodka and beer in the vehicle, but the man showed no indication he had been drinking.
The Willoughby man, 60, was cited for open container and released.
