Security guard helps to rescue rape victim-US Navy sailor arrested
Guam Aug 30 2018 A woman who just recently turned 18 called for her father’s help via a pinned map through Whatsapp after she was allegedly sexually assaulted while attending a party Saturday night, a Superior Court of Guam magistrate’s complaint states.
U.S. Navy sailor Jonathan Womack, 22, was arrested and charged with third-degree criminal sexual conduct in connection with the incident.
The teen was allegedly impaired after having consumed alcohol at the party in a Chalan Pago residence, where she was allegedly sexually assaulted in an upstairs bedroom, the magistrate’s complaint states.
The victim used the social media application’s location tracker so that her father could locate her, the court document states.
The teen’s father called police after he received a phone call from his daughter stating that she was unable to exit where she was at “and that she was not OK.”
Court documents state the victim had dropped a “pin” in a WhatsApp message so her father could find her.
The court document states the dad sought the help of a security guard in finding her. The security guard had to use “some force to open the door to free (the victim)” from the Chalan Pago residence, the complaint states.
The complaint states the victim had pain in her private parts and requested medical attention.
Complaint: Victim has passed out
The document further states the victim had been drinking at the party and passed out, and woke up to Womack sexually assaulting her.
She had to ask him to stop three times before he complied, the complaint states. The complaint adds the teen then passed out again, only to wake up to Womack digitally penetrating her.
The court document also states she then faked being asleep and tried to leave after Womack himself passed out, “but was unable to open the front door or back door to the residence to leave.”
Womack allegedly denied the assault and claimed the sexual encounter had been consensual, the court document states.
