Security guard in critical condition after being stabbed
Belize June 26 2018 A security guard is in a critical condition after he was attacked and stabbed while on duty at the school where he works in Belize City.
Clifford Samuel Welch, 56, who is employed as the security guard at St. Luke’s Methodist primary school on Mahogany Street was on the verandah of the second floor of the school building around 7:30 this morning when someone attacked him. The assailant(s) inflicted multiple stab wounds over Welch’s body, leaving him then ran off. Welch is in a critical condition at the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital.
Police have no suspects so far.
