Security Guard Injured in Shooting At Hollywood & Highland Complex
Los Angeles CA Feb 24 2021Â A security guard was injured Monday in a shooting at the Hollywood & Highland shopping and entertainment complex and a suspect was taken into custody.
Police were called about 4:25 p.m. to reports of the shooting with a person down, said Officer William Cooper with the Los Angeles Police Department.
After the shooting, police said a suspect fled the scene north on Highland Avenue. Officers set up a perimeter in the area, and by about 6:30 p.m., had one suspect in custody, Cooper said.

An officer at LAPD’s Hollywood Station said the injured person was a security guard.
KCAL9 reported that the shooting occurred following a dispute between the suspect and management of the Shoe Palace store.
The victim was reported in stable condition, Cooper said.
