Security Guard Killed At Thompson Town High School
Clarendon Jamaica Oct 24 2017 Gunmen shot and killed a security guard at the Thompson Town High School in Clarendon early this morning.
The dead security guard has been identified as 39-year-old Alrick Carty.
A second guard who was also shot is now hospitalised.
Reports are that the guards were conducting a routine patrol of the school compound about 1:30 when they were pounced upon by two men.
The guards reportedly beckoned to the men who responded by opening gunfire.
The gunmen escaped in a waiting motor car and left behind a steel cutter.
