Security guard killed during robbery
Trinidad Jan 15 2018 A security guard is dead after he was shot three times at a recently opened outlet of a popular fast food chain at O’Meara Road, Arima.
The deceased has been identified as 48-year-old Curt Montigiux of Maloney.
According to reports, the bandits entered the establishment around 7:30pm yesterday and announced a hold up.
However, on seeing the assailants, the workers fled to the back of the building and secured themselves in a room.
The bandits were unable to gain access to the registry, and fled the scene empty handed.
However, it was said that as they ran off, they confronted Montigiux, apparently out of frustration, and shot him several times.
The 48-year-old man died on the scene.
