Security guard on leave after gun discharged inside Oklahoma State Capitol

An investigation is underway after an armed private security officer discharged his firearm inside the Oklahoma State Capitol.
The security guard has been placed on leave after his gun was discharged at least twice inside a bathroom at the State Capitol.
The Oklahoma Highway Patrol confirmed that they investigating the incident, which they said occurred at about noon Tuesday.
Authorities said that the security guard is contracted by the Department of Public Safety but did not name the security company.
