Security guard shot during robbery at Robeson County arcade
PARKTON, N.C January 12 2019 The Robeson County Sheriff’s Office is looking for suspects they believe shot a security guard during a robbery Thursday.
According to a Facebook post from Sheriff Burnis Wilkins, deputies responded just before 10 a.m. for a robbery and shooting call at the C & O Arcade along Highway 301 in Parkton.
When they arrived, deputies say they found the security guard shot in the foot.
The guard was taken to a hospital for treatment. His injuries are described as “not life threatening.”
During the robbery, Wilkins says there were customers inside the arcade and $6,000 was stolen from the business.
The suspects were believed to be driving a small white, four door vehicle with a Pennsylvania license plate.
Police say $6000 was taken in the robbery.
