Security guard shot in the neck in Hollywood CA.
HOLLYWOOD, Calif. Aug 31 2019– Los Angeles police are investigating a shooting in Hollywood near a Metro station in the 5400 block of Hollywood Boulevard that left a security guard wounded.
The shooting happened at about 9:33 p.m.
The victim was rushed to the hospital in an unknown condition.
Police describe the suspect as a Hispanic male in his 20s, 5-feet 10-inches tall, approximately 150 pounds, wearing a white hooded sweatshirt, white shorts and armed with a gun.
The suspect was last seen on Western Avenue from Hollywood Boulevard. The Metro Red Line station was not affected.
No further details were immediately known. The investigation is ongoing.
