Security guard shot, killed by another security guard in southwest Houston, HPD says

The Houston police department is investigating the shooting death of a private security officer.
The incident happened around 6:30 a.m. Friday morning at the 7500 block of Harwin Drive.
Police say that the security guard was shot and killed by another security guard in front of the storefront in southwest Houston, police said.
According to investigators, the guard shot his coworker and then called 911.
HPD officers detained the suspect when they arrived, and he was taken to the police station for questioning.
No charges have been filed yet as the investigation is underway.
Charges may be referred to a grand jury at a later time.
NOTE: This is the 3rd security officer killed by another security guard this year.
