Security guard wounded in crossfire at Jackson nightclub

Police are investigating a shooting at a south Jackson nightclub.
The shooting was reported about 3 a.m. Thursday at Kings Club on Terry Road, police said.
A security guard was trying to break up a fight between two people when he was caught in the crossfire, according to Jackson Police Department Public Information Officer Sam Brown.
One or both of the people who were fighting fired shots, Brown said. The security guard was shot in the leg and was taken to a hospital, Brown said. His condition is not known.
The security guard did not fire a weapon, Brown said.
There were no surveillance cameras at the club and no word on arrests, Brown said.
