Security officer accidentally shoots himself during range training

A security guard accidentally shot himself in the leg during training, officers said.
Lincoln police said the 43-year-old employee of VT-SGI security was wounded at an indoor shooting range at 47th and Hartley streets around 9 a.m. Tuesday.
Officials said he was holstering his gun when it went off.
He was taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The security officer was not identified by police.
