Security officer escapes injury at adult store as a barrage of bullets is unleashed in his direction

A customer at Tokyo Valentino, an adult store popular with gay customers on Cheshire Bridge Road opened fire after arguing with a security guard Atlanta police said.
The customer fired a barrage of bullets, with at least one lodging in the wall of a video booth on the lower level.
The incident at the business the adult superstore left the rear parking lot littered with shell casings, three bullet holes above the rear entrance to the lower level and a bullet lodged in the wall of one of the video booths, according to the Atlanta Police Department. A parked car was also damaged.
The security officer scuffled with the customer but had to dive to the ground to avoid being shot. He was not injured during the incident, according to police.
The shooting unfolded about 5 a.m. on Thursday, according to a police incident report. The security guard was called to the lower level of the facility which contains several video booths that offer sex videos to remove a customer that the business banned after a dispute weeks earlier.
The security officer ordered the suspect to leave, he refused, and an argument ensued. The man threatened to kill the security guard, who then punched the man in the face, according to the incident report.
The gunshots started after the two men exited the store and carried the argument into the parking lot.
“The suspect then started walking backward while pulling a handgun from his waistband or front pocket area and began to discharge the firearm,” according to the incident report.
The security guard officer then fell to the parking lot’s pavement to avoid being hit.”
The man fled in a dark blue Volvo, according to police.
