Security officer helps rescue dog trapped in pit of tar
FRESNO, California Aug 22 2019 A dog rescued from a pit of tar in Fresno has been cleaned up and is ready for adoption.
According to the CCSPCA, an overnight security guard at a business in Fresno found the young dog on Saturday shortly before 11 p.m. and reported it.
The female dog was hoisted out of the pit and, after several hours of careful cleaning, the tar was removed.
Staff at the CCSPCA named the dog Tara (A42455630) and she is almost ready to be adopted.
