Security officer’s tip leads police to arrest two people stealing items at new fire station
CLOVIS, Calif. May 24, 2022 A man and a woman have been arrested for allegedly stealing items from the new fire station in Clovis that is under construction.
Clovis PD received a tip from a security guard who saw two people stealing the temporary fencing around the station on Shaw and Leonard Avenues early Saturday morning.
When officers arrived, they also witnessed Daniel Tarin, 47, and Alyssa Passmore, 27, loading the large pieces of fencing onto their vehicle.
Police were able to return the stolen property back onto the property.
Both were booked into the Fresno County Jail for grand theft, conspiracy, and narcotics-related charges as officers also found meth during the search.
