Self storage company utilizes security robots
California August 22 2023 A self-storage company with locations in several states is implementing Knightscope security robots at their California and Portland locations.
The robots will patrol the area to help mitigate risk and protect tenants and their belongings. Self-storage units are often concerned about theft, especially units open 24 hours that may not always have a security guard present.
In addition to their security duties, the robots will broadcast messages to passersby.
No word on how many robots are being deployed.
