Seneca High School security stop trespasser under the influence of possible narcotics

An investigation is underway at Seneca High School after a disoriented man entered a hallway while students were entering the building from school buses on Thursday morning, Wattsburg Area School District officials announced in a news release.
The unidentified man entered through a student entrance and was stopped by staff at the main office entrance, according to district officials.
School staff say the man was very disoriented and was likely under the influence of methamphetamines. He was also complaining of chest pain.
After being stopped at the main office, the intruder walked into a hallway without permission.
District officials immediately put the school on lockdown while the intruder was apprehended by staff, including the school resource officer.
The man was allegedly driving a stolen van from Gannon University, according to district officials.
The Pennsylvania State Police, Erie Police and the Erie County Sheriff’s office are investigating the incident.
