Shocking footage shows a private security guard shooting his supervisor and then himself with a shotgun in San Francisco de Macorís, Dominican Republic on Saturday.
The National Police said the man, who has been identified as Víctor Hernández, 21, had been reprimanded because he had allegedly turned up drunk to his workplace when he killed his supervisor, Jesús María Ureña, 58, and then committed suicide.
Hernández can be seen arguing with his fellow co-worker Ureña before abruptly turning the gun on him and shooting hi
In the graphic video Ureña dies immediately, which is when Hernández, who worked as a security guard at the company Guardians of the Future, turns the gun around and shoots himself in the chest.
He doesn’t fall to the ground straight away but instead stumbles around before exiting the area.
Cesar Reinoso, an employee of the company said he heard the detonation of several shots.
The bodies were taken by the authorities to the hospital morgue San Vicente de Paul in the city for autopsy purposes.
Ureña died at the scene and Hernández died at the hospital.
Reinoso, who was Hernández’s partner, said he would regularly arrive at work completely intoxicated and he had been notified several times.
