Shooting at Oklahoma City Taco Bell leaves security guard injured

A security guard was injured Sunday evening after a shooting at a Taco Bell in Oklahoma City.
The Oklahoma City Police Department responded to the report of the shooting around 7 p.m. at 936 West Sheridan Avenue.
Police said the guard, who was hired by Taco Bell, was having issues with an individual when an unrelated person approached the security guard.
The person then began assaulting the security guard, and he appeared to have grabbed the security guard’s gun, according to Oklahoma City police.
The suspect then shot the security guard at least once.
The Oklahoma City Police Department said the shooting happened in the parking lot of the restaurant.
The guard sustained non-life-threating injuries and was being transported to the hospital. The suspect was arrested, and police said they have the weapon in their possession.
Both the security guard and the suspect received injuries consistent with being involved in a physical altercation, according to police.
