PASCO, Wash.May 6 2018
Two theft suspects wanted for pulling a firearm on a Macy’s loss prevention agent during a robbery and then attempting to kidnap him have been arrested by the US Marshal’s Fugitive Apprehension Team.
Jaime Larios Miranda, 22, and Kameron Grey Mullaly, 20, are suspected in an April 24 incident in which a Macy’s loss prevention agent attempted to detain a man for shoplifting.
Police say the man pulled a gun and tried to take the LP Agent hostage before fleeing in a stolen Toyota Camry driven by a second person.
According to the U.S. Marshals Service, investigators learned the suspects were hiding in the Tri-Cities where they were arrested at a Pasco business park following several surveillance operations.
Investigators said a firearm was also recovered and that a third person was arrested on an unrelated warrant from Franklin County for felony eluding.
Miranda and Mullaly face charges of armed robbery, attempted kidnapping, assault, threats to kill, eluding, hit and run and possession of a stolen vehicle, according to the U.S. Marshals Service.
