Shoplifters face drug and theft charges at Trumbull mall
TRUMBULL, CT October 8 2018— Three people were arrested after being caught stealing electronics from Target at the Trumbull mall, according to police.
The three are known to loss prevention at the store and were seen taking a television and Xbox headphones, police said.
Carlos Ramos, 35, Ramon Rodriguez, 41, and Norma Melendez, 38, all of Bridgeport were charged with fifth-degree larceny. Melendez was also found to have a first-degree failure to appear active arrest warrant and was arrested on that charge.
Ramos was found to be in possession of marijuana laced with PCP and was additionally charged with possession of a controlled substance, police said.
