Shoplifters strike DuBois Mall security officer with their vehicle
Sandy Township, PA Dec 13 2020– Sandy Township Police say thieves at the DuBois Mall fled from security and struck one security guard with a vehicle.
Thieves at the DuBois Mall fled from security and actually struck one of the security guards with their vehicle.
Employees of the Show Depot in the DuBois Mall reported a retail theft to security on Sunday, Dec. 6.
The security guard followed the suspect couple to the entrance of the mall and attempted to stop them, but they would not comply.
He then followed them to their vehicle and while getting their license plate number the vehicle backed up and hit the guard, then fled the scene.
The security guard reported minor injuries and charges are pending.
Police are still investigating.
