Stockton man assaulted a security officer and damaged a police car

Police responded to a store after a man refused to leave and assaulted a security officer.
Authorities say that the suspect walked into the business at West Harding Way and North Center Street about 7 a.m. Friday.
After a confrontation, the man was asked to leave but assaulted the security guard and then damaging store equipment on his way out, police said.
Police took 42-year-old Nathan Green into custody.
Upon his arrest, the suspect also damaged a patrol vehicle before he was put into restraints.
Green, now faces resisting arrest and vandalism charges.
