Stockton police investigate armed robbery where gun was pointed at security

Police responded at 8:30 p.m. Wednesday to a report of an armed robbery where a firearm was displayed.
Police said that, the male victim, a security guard, 44, witnessed two suspects steal merchandise from a store in the 8000 block of West Lane west of Hammer Lane and run to a silver sedan in the parking lot.
The victim followed the two suspects and as he approached the vehicle, another suspect seated in the passenger seat pulled out a handgun from his waistband.
The security officer said that he backed away from the vehicle and it fled out of the parking lot.
The victim fled as all the suspects left in the suspect vehicle.
The first two suspects are females, 25-30 years old, and third suspect is a male, 35, wearing red clothing.
