Assistant Commissioner Dwayne McDonald wouldn’t say what exactly tipped police off to Glasgow’s location, or the suspect’s relationship with those in the unit with him at the time of his arrest.

In a press release, the RCMP said the Serious Crimes Unit worked with the Lower Mainland Emergency Response Team, Lower Mainland Integrated Police Dog Service, Air 1 and Burnaby RCMP to make the arrest.
They said no one was injured during the arrest.

He was treated at Royal Columbian Hospital and went home late Wednesday evening.
