Suspect posing as a security guard assaults and carjacks victim
MILLCREEK, Utah Feb 15 2018 – Millcreek Police are looking for a man and woman involved in an assault and carjacking that happened at a Smith’s Grocery Store parking lot.
On Wednesday just after 12:00 a.m., the two suspects drove into the parking lot, located at 845 East 4500 South, in a dark Dodge truck.
The male suspect got out of the truck, impersonated a Smith’s Grocery security guard, then assaulted and carjacked the victim
According to Lt. Brian Lohrke with the Unified Police Dept., the male suspect drove off in the victim’s car — reported to be a 2005 Ford Escape, and the female suspect drove off in the black Dodge Truck.
The victim suffered minor injuries.
