Suspected underwear thief banned from a Colorado university campus
DENVER CO December 27 2019 A Colorado university issued a serious campus safety alert for a suspected underwear thief.
The University of Denver is reporting 34-year-old Christopher Finger is, “considered an ongoing threat to the University community and has been issued a Protection Order by the court.” The University issued a notice of trespass to Finger, stating he would be trespassing if he went on the campus.
The university is asking anyone who sees Finger on campus to call them at 303-871-3000. The campus is located off Evans Avenue and S. University Boulevard. A photo of a man authorities believe is Finger is posted at the top of this article.
On Nov. 28, the University of Denver is reporting a man entered the sports center and went into the lower level’s secured women’s locker rooms. The University of Denver Campus Safety posted the safety alert on Monday.
“Using information gathered from security cameras,” the University wrote in an alert. “The Denver Police Department and the Division of Campus Safety were subsequently able to identify the suspect.
As a result of a cooperative investigation between Denver Police and Campus Safety… Police arrested 34-year-old Christopher Finger and charged him with burglary and invasion of privacy [for] sex gratification.”
