Suspected Walmart thieves threatened to shoot security guard in CT
East Windsor CT January 7 2023 Police say they’re looking for two suspected thieves who threatened to shoot a security worker Thursday at Walmart.
East Windsor police are also on the lookout for the getaway car, a dark red Honda Civic.
The theft happened early Thursday evening at the Walmart Supercenter, 44 Prospect Hill Road, police said.
Police posted on Facebook surveillance photos of the suspects, who appear to be women, pushing carts with merchandise before trying to leave without paying.
When a loss prevention staff member approached them, one of the suspects said she would shoot him if he got any closer, police said. Neither person showed a weapon, police said.
They took off in the red Honda Civic that is believed to have had Connecticut plates, police said.
