CRYSTAL BAY, NV  April 28 2019 Washoe County Sheriff’s deputies have arrested a man from North Carolina wanted for 134 warrants dealing with Third-Degree Sex Exploitation of a Minor.

Just after midnight the morning of Thursday, April 25, 2019, deputies responded to a report of a disturbance at the Crystal Bay Casino at Lake Tahoe.

Deputies met with security guard Richard Britt, who had called the Sheriff’s Office for assistance with an unwanted person.

During the course of the call, deputies ran a wants and warrants check on Britt and found the General Court of Justice District Court of North Carolina had just the day before issued 134 warrants for Britt. The warrants were related to 403 felony counts of Sex Exploitation of a Minor.

Britt was booked into the Washoe County jail, where he awaits extradition to North Carolina.

It’s not clear how long Britt had been working at the casino or lived in Nevada, or when the alleged crimes took place.
