Target Security Officer Shot 9 Times with Pellet Gun

A security officer patrolling the parking lot of a Target store on foot observed a vehicle driving through the lot several times.
As he approached the vehicle, described as an older model brown Oldsmobile, a person stuck something out the window and began firing at him.
The security officer told police that his legs began stinging and he realized that he has being shit at and hit the ground.
Police were called to 9040 Skyview Avenue and officers and EMS arrived and found that the security officer had been hit nine times with pellets.
EMS gave medical attention to the officer while police checked the area but did not locate the vehicle.
The security officer was able to obtain a license plate number and police say that they are conducting a further investigation. When apprehended, the shooter could face an aggravated assault charge.
