Teen theft suspects pepper spray mall security

Security officers watched two teens on February 2 2020 at around 5pm as they removed the sensors from merchandise totaling $496 while stealing goods from Victoria’s Secret and H&M at Beachwood Place.
As security officers approached the young men, 17 and 18, both of Erie, Pa., one of them used pepper spray on a security officer and a fight ensued.
A Taser was eventually used to subdue and arrest the suspects.
The suspects were charged with robbery, assault, resisting arrest, receiving stolen property, obstructing official business and criminal damaging.
Their names were not released by police.
