Three indicted in armed robbery-disarming security at bank in Gallery Furniture
Houston TX Sept 9 2019
Three Houston men accused of holding up a bank inside Gallery Furniture have been indicted on federal charges, authorities said Thursday.
The three, Thaddeaues Williams, 21, Andre Palmer-Gilliams, 28, and Tydreic Sublet, 19, are scheduled to appear this morning for arraignment before U.S. Magistrate Judge Dena Palermo.
Authorities with the U.S. Attorneys office said the three held up Woodforest National Bank, located inside Gallery Furniture on the North Freeway, on Aug. 14. A grand jury indicted them on Aug. 28 on charges of aiding and abetting a robbery and well as brandishing a firearm.
The charges allege Williams jumped the counter of Woodforest National Bank and took an unspecified amount of money, while Palmer-Gilliams allegedly entered the bank, pulled a gun and stole money from a customer who was using the ATM inside.
Sublet reportedly entered the bank, pulled a gun and pointed at customers and tellers, according to the allegations. Sublet also allegedly disarmed the security guard and took his firearm before the three men exited the bank.
A security guard was able to get a make, model and first letter of the license plate of the getaway vehicle, and officers were quickly able to locate it, according to the charges.
After a chase ensued, charges allege the vehicle ultimately crashed into a ditch, at which time the three men ran.
Authorities caught the three, found with four guns and the money allegedly stolen from the bank, according to the allegations.
