Transit security worker discovers man fatally shot in Seattle’s Industrial District
Seattle WA July 13, 2023 A man was found dead with gunshot wounds just before 9 a.m. Saturday morning.
According to police, the man was found by a Sound Transit Security officer near a fence line in the Industrial District near the intersection of Airport Way South and South Hinds Street. He was pronounced dead at the scene by Seattle Fire.
The circumstances leading up to the fatal shooting incident are still under investigation.
Seattle Police Department’s Crime Scene Investigations Unit responded to the scene alongside homicide detectives who are leading the investigation.
