Trio Sought For Assaulting Lord & Taylor Security Guard
WAYNE, NJ Dec 7 2017 — Police are looking for three women they say assaulted a security guard and gave him a concussion after they shoplifted merchandise from Lord & Taylor at the Willowbrook Mall Thursday night.
The women were seen shoplifting at the store just before 8 p.m., said Detective Capt. Laurence Martin.
A security guard approached women in the parking lot, but they drove away in a white Nissan SUV, Martin said. They drove away with the guard holding onto the side of the vehicle and raced through the parking lot, a video police released of the encounter shows.
The security guard fell off the SUV and hit the pavement. He received a concussion and laceration as a result of the fall, Martin said. The man is recovering.
The women left the mall in a rented white Nissan SUV with a New York license plate of HFE2593, Martin said. Responding officers were unable to find the vehicle.
The women were described as African-Americans between 20 and 39 years old. The driver was described as a heavy-set female with long black hair, wearing a black, zipper-style jacket and a long blue floral pattern skirt. The second female suspect had a thin build with a long black hair in a ponytail and wore a long black shirt, long black skirt and gray hooded sweatshirt, which was underneath a white sweater, police said.
The third suspect had blonde hair, an Ushanka Russian style winter hat, white shirt, black jacket and long black skirt, Martin said.
