Two charged in thefts from Tanger Outlets
REHOBOTH BEACH, Del. Jan 13 2019– Delaware State Police arrested two people after they allegedly shoplifted from several stores at the Tanger Outlets.
Troopers responded to the Nike store in the Bayside Outlet Friday morning for shoplifting complaints. The suspects had already left the store, but DSP said troopers were given a description of their car and were able to find it along Coastal Highway.
State Police pulled the car over and found Donald L. Dailey Jr., 32 of Milford, and Ashley N. Cannon, 27 of Milford, who police said both had active warrants for shoplifting.
Dailey and Cannon were arrested.
State police said they found the stolen merchandise inside the car. DSP also said they learned the pair had shoplifted from several other businesses since December, like Tommy Hilfiger, Marshalls, and Adidas.
Dailey was charged with organized retail theft, among other charges. He was arraigned and released on a $6,500 unsecured bond.
Cannon was found to be in possession of drug paraphernalia. She was also charged with organized retail theft, and other theft and drug-related charges. She was released and committed to the Dolores J. Baylor Women’s Correctional Institution on $7,000 secured bond.
