Two GardaWorld armored truck security officers injured in NC rollover
VASS, N.C. July 6 2018—
Emergency responders and law enforcement were dispatched Wednesday afternoon to a serious crash where several people were injured.
Police said that two armored truck security officers were injured when their armored car overturned Wednesday afternoon in Moore County. 1
Authorities said the GardaWorld armored car was traveling on U.S. Highway 1 at about 4:30 p.m. when it ran off the roadway, landing on its passenger’s side before sliding a short distance and coming to a stop.
Two people inside the vehicle were taken to First Health Moore Regional Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The crash remains under investigation.
