Two marijuana dispensary security guards injured in drive-by shooting
San Bernardino CA April 1 2018
Police are still investigating after two security officers were wounded in a drive-by shooting Thursday night outside a marijuana dispensary that had been ordered to close.
San Bernardino police said on Friday that the dispensary was operating illegally and Lt. Michael Madden said that it had been previously shut down by the city.
Officers were called to the area of Fifth and Flores streets around 11 p.m.
Two security officers were outside when a vehicle drove by and someone inside fired several rounds, striking both, Madden said.
At least one of the security guards returned fire. The wounds were not life-threatening.
