University of Central Florida security guard and students nab drunk driver
ORLANDO, Fla. —April 24 2018
A University of Central Florida security guard and students said a drunken driver tried to run off after hitting multiple cars inside a parking garage.
Florida Highway Patrol troopers arrested James Morris near the Marquee Apartments on Sunday.
A security officer said Morris almost hit him after hitting cars in the garage.
The officer and students were able to keep Morris at the scene until troopers arrived.
Morris allegedly told authorities he had had one shot of liquor at the Pub and was heading home to Oviedo before the crash. According to officials, Morris also stated he didn’t remember the incident.
